The 2.2 Ecotect engine is a DOHC (Double or Dual Overhead Cam) four-valve design with the engine block and head made of lost foam cast aluminum. Many Chevy, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac car owners are not aware that although their cars have different badges, they use the same car engine.
